" Being a fellow in the Millennium Fellowship is one of the most exciting experiences I can ever have in my lifetime. The most exciting opportunity is provision for the challenge and increasing my impact and engagement in the community. As a fellow of the class 2018, this willhelp me build my network in Africa and the world at large. I also hope, it will act as my platform to share my leadership experiences and also to obtain more ideas on how to improve my country and Africa at large through my leadership. As a fellow I really hope my leadership potential will be lifted to greater heights. Taking part in an activity arranged by the Millennium Campus Network in partnership with the United Nations Academic Impact is still an exciting journey I would like to take as I hope that God willing this is going to increase my chances to get connected to people who have made this world a greater place to live. Millennium Fellowship Project: BioTeCH Awareness for Africa
BioTecH Awareness for Africa is the project. We are educators who meet, teach better farming methods and provide farmers with better breeds of crops resistant to disease and drought such as GMOs, good quality seeds so as to increase crop yields in a smaller space and time , increase plant vigour and longevity and hence give food security to people. The team also educate the entire population on issues about health care, accessibility of biopharmaceuticals ie drugs, vaccines so as to reduce disease . By the end of the four months the team would like to ensure that each targeted farmer is able to yield a measurable quantity of food for sell and personal home consumption.
