Our team created educational events about the reality of homelessness in our community. The fellowship conducted research through surveys to better understand the types of services would better fit the needs of the community.
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Shianne Reimer and I am a junior at Moravian College. I’m a History and German major with the intent of studying abroad in Germany spring semester 2019. On campus, I am the current President of two clubs, one of which helps create items such as hats and scarves that get donated to the homeless in our community. For the past two semesters I have worked on campus in the Academic and Accessibility Support Center which provides academic support services. I strongly believe in giving back to the community which has made me the person I am today.
