ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2018
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2018, students applied to join the Class of 2018 on 285 campuses across 57 nations. 30 campuses worldwide (just 11%) were selected to host the 402 Millennium Fellows in the global pilot this year.
The Class of 2018 is bold, innovative, and inclusive. During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 48,785 hours and their 214 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 393,449 people worldwide.

" I'm a sophomore from Northeast Agricultural University. It is also chairman of the Enactus team at Northeast Agricultural University.
I am very happy and lucky to become a Millennium researcher. This is very consistent with our project's ideas and actions.
After becoming a Millennium researcher, I believe we will be closer to the SDG concept and strengthen project management and implementation in communities and schools. We are currently promoting cultural and agricultural projects. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Northeast Agricultural University Enactus
We change the state of the community through different projects. Biology support projects are mainly conducted by college students to disseminate knowledge of biology science in remote primary schools. Soil remediation projects mainly focus on improving soil heavy metal pollution by studying soil conditioners. Bio-composting project is mainly through green waste treatment technology, plant residues will be re-produced into fertilizer, reducing soil fertility, and increasing crop yield.
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Fan Shicheng. I am a sophomore at Northeast Agricultural University . My major is biotechnology. I am the captain of the founding team of Northeast Agricultural University Enactus team. I have learned from like-minded partners, valuable experience and ability to upgrade. Almost all my awards are related to my experience in Enactus. This year, I gained recognition from Enactus China, which is a great encouragement for me.
