Millennium Fellowship Project: Refugee Empowerment and Awareness Taskforce

Our initiative, the Refugee Empowerment and Awareness Campus Task Force at Northeastern University, or REACT for short, was founded two years ago to bring together students interested in helping refugees, both in the Boston area and globally, in a variety of ways. This includes volunteer service, speaking and art-based events to raise awareness, and fundraising efforts for refugees in Boston and abroad. Measurable outcomes for us primarily means events in any of those three streams.
