About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Karla Oviedo. I am currently a junior in the University of Las Americas in Quito, Ecuador. The career I chose is dentistry because I care about the well-being of children who unfortunately face poverty, and are not able to pay for these services. I also want to major in oral and maxillofacial surgery to treat children who are born with harelip, and have the opportunity to better their well-being.
