" It is an amazing feeling to know you can help make change in the world, it's even a better feeling knowing that you can make change with a global like minded team!
To be a Millennium Fellow is more than doing our small part to our local region, it is to be a part of a movement... showcasing exactly what youth can do if given the opportunity to succeed! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: P.E.A.C.E. Unlimited
P.E.A.C.E. in Western Sydney is a strategy for Promoting, Educating, Awareness-raising, Campaigning, and Empowering individuals, groups and the community, around Sustainable Development and the capacity we all have to effect lasting, positive change. EDUCATE on current and future University and SDSN Youth initiatives including Responsible Cafes, Tea Bag Project, Plastic Lids installation and local High School Masterclass programs
Raise AWARENESS across the 5 main campuses personalizing the SDGs to local concerns
Create two CAMPAIGNS:
Challenging the University to re-evaluate current policies, practices and values.
Disrupt current unsustainable consumption and waste practices, i.e., single-use items
EMPOWER students and staff by implementing a new initiative, installing environmentally fact-based challenges related to a minimum of 3 SDGs across 5 main campuses
