ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

" I am thrilled to be part of the millennium fellow class of 2019, as a humanitarian trying to seek for the betterment of the I leave with through helping and understanding individuals opinion/ideas.
Supporting the SDGs in order to attained quality education and the like for my community, achieving that requires team work and the work force to work together. Notwithstanding, advocating peace and justice for better livelihood and improve the quality of education is what am aspiring for. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Smart Hub Initiative
Smart hub initiative will aim at enhancing the student ability to read and write, and to develop their academic standard through nurturing and imbibe the pupils/student toward a better academic excellence.
For a meaningful development toward quality education the basis of the education sector should be considered first.
Thing to be doing during the project include but not limited to: 1) creating of a literary club in the school, 2) career guide, 3) advocating on female child education.
About the Millennium Fellow
Abubakar Muhammad is a final year student at the University of Ahmadu Bello, where he is studying Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering. Abubakar served as the public relation office of the National Union of Bauchi State students (NUBASS), and currently the Secretary General of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering Student Association in Ahmadu Bello University.
A student with a unique ability to adopt sudden changes and seeking to work with team of professionals where challenges and results are paramount.
