" I'm so excited to be a Millennium Fellow because i will be equipped with the necessary tools and skill to further pursue by passion towards child education and also use these skills to help my community. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Education For Every Child
Education For Every Child Project is aimed at reducing the rate of child drop out of school and also creating awareness in schools and communities on the importance of education to the society and how it will go a long way to solve some societal challenges.
Measurable Goals I hope to achieve:
1) Organize an outreach to 10 schools within my community to educate students and pupils in primary and secondary schools, on the importance of education and how it plays a vital role to achieving their dreams and future ambitions.
2) Sending at least three (3) drop out kids back to school every month.
3) Educating parents on the need to educate their children.
About the Millennium Fellow
Suyum Emmanuel is a fifth year at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria studying mechanical engineering. Suyum grew up in a community where child education is of less importance to parents and the community, he embraces his passion towards education by creating awareness and educating parents, students and pupils on the role education plays in our every day lives and the future. Education is the backborn of every societal growth and development; he aims to ensure that every vulnerable child on the street goes back to school.
