Millennium Fellowship Project: Bringing African Culture In Today's Fashion
These project trains youths who have interest in art and fashion to give them skills in producing accessories and bags with beads. It focuses not only on providing them with the skills but also going further to draw them on board to get access to materials and tools for production with the aim of business management.
As a team, we produce beaded bags for sale and exhibitions and have so far drawn an investor on board who helps us with acquiring more orders for a large scale of production. With this step in progress, these youths are able to earn income to support their financial needs and there are 6 individuals on board at the moment.
