ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: TECH4DEV

Tech4Dev is a project that is centered around providing mentorship and support to individuals on campus that are novices within the technological feild.

About the Millennium Fellow

Matia Mulumba Mukasa is a Ugandan orphaned by the 2000 civil war in Uganda. throughout his life, he has been fortunate to be assisted by well meaning sponsors from his childhood years to his mature years. he feels he is debted to society and will jump at any opportunity available to make his community or society better. Matia is a person who is really passionate about technology and he tries to use the technology to be of importance to those around him by finding technological solutions to everyday problems.
