" I'm excited to take part in an accelerator fellowship that is there to outline a leadership vision I aspire to perceive. I am keen that this fruitful opportunity will embark on exquisite student innovation for the SDG's, and this is quite remarkable! "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Promoting Women's Participation in Politics

"Promoting Women’s Participation in Politics" aims to educate a group of students, age 16 to 18 years old, from public vocational schools about gender discrimination and stereotyping in Lebanon. It will specifically tackle the Lebanese patriarchal mentality regarding women’s role in politics and the laws that are marginalizing women’s rights. This will be done through organized debates which will help the students express their opinions and thoughts in a civilized way on such issues. The goal by February 2020 is to graduate our first cohort of participants, and hopefully, initiate a debate club to ensure the project's sustainability.
