" I am more than excited to be a member of the Millennium because it represents the perfect opportunity to give back everything that our world has given to all of us. To make a fairer world in which everyone has a voice, and a place in which everyone deserves a chance to fly. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Social Inclusion

Our project consists in raising awareness in our society towards people with different disabilities through campaigns on several social media platforms, conferences, activities and workshops. All these activities will be made in public spaces where the community can participate and experience first hand what it is like to live in the shoes of people with disabilities. Because we are focusing on the Sustainable Development Goal number 10: Reducing inequalities we believe that the previous propositions of activities will result on creating empathy and awareness in the community towards people with this conditions. At the end of the month of events we will challenge a local business to make their establishment more inclusive like having employees with disabilities, having the menu in braille or having accessible entrances.
