UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT CRISTAL ALMONTE, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2019.
College of Mount Saint Vincent | New York, United States | Advancing SDG 16 & UNAI 8

" I am excited to be a Millenium Fellow because it will be a great opportunity to help others out, which is what the world needs more of these days. I am looking forward to meeting new people and contributing to their projects as well. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Anti-Violence Project
Our project will consist of hosting a basketball tournament for the young children to engage with each other and have some fun. It will also consist of educating the kids at the same time. It will teach them on violence and how we can work together to decrease the crime/violent acts in their neighborhood and their surrounding neighborhoods. We hope with the presentation that we put on and a couple of guest speakers they will leave our project enlightened.
