" Being a minority woman myself, I have always wanted to ensure that the younger generations have the support that many of us have lacked and I am excited to be able to do just that with the help of this fellowship. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Education for All

Our project is an ongoing project that has to do with education for minority girls in the South Bronxs. We will be hosting after school programs for the girls and having hands on activities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gesselle Sanchez is an honors sophomore student at the College of Mount Saint Vincent double majoring in Psychology and Spanish as well as minoring in Biology. She is currently the treasurer for both the Honors Club, whose main goal is to close the gap between honors students and non-honors students, and WEBelieve Club, whose goal is to provide an after school program for minority girls to ensure they get the support they need to be successful.
