ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: RISE Foundation

RISE Foundation work to fulfil certain objective to enhance the lives of these young children.Certain Objectives that RISE has-
1. Help children get educated on fundamentals of life and learn about ideas that aren’t discussed in schools.
2. Enhance their health and well-being
3.Guarantee them safe and protective spaces for learning, free from abuse
4. Increase their motivation and raise morale
5. Mobilize community support for education
6. Defend and protect children from violence and harm
7. Provide positive experience for children

About the Millennium Fellow

Yash Rathu is a 2nd year college student studying Bachelors in Management Studies. He is working on a project RISE( Rights information and safety Education). He believes that education is a stepping stone in how a child believes his perception about the world and his work is focused towards expanding the education to practical things which are used in real life
