Florida International University | Florida, United States | Advancing SDG 11 & UNAI 3
" This is an amazing opportunity to voice my concerns and actually have an impact on the environmental issues that press the world today. Also working with other students who may have the same concerns and to see other concerns that I might haven't viewed in the same way. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Consumer
The main goal is to eliminate single-use plastic on campus, with providing research for substitutions, due to those with disabilities and need items such as straws. Also to inform other students on the social issue we have at hand and to be able to have a strong voice to get rid of plastic pollution. Using petitions and surveys of what students want.
