Furman University | South Carolina, United States | Advancing SDG 4 & UNAI 9
" It is easy to think people don't care or try, but now more than ever, I have realized people's capacity, drive and desire to do good in this world. I want to ensure that every person, right now an din the future, is able to do what they're passionate about- whether that be making art, finding a cure for cancer, building affordable housing, bettering our justice system, making people smile. Whatever they feel called to, I know the only sure way they can achieve these things is if we take care of the Earth first. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Responsible Consumption through the food system
Put on a Cultural Life Program (CLP) which 32 are required for all Furman students. My CLP included a brief presentation about the current state of food system, introductions to systems thinking, and resources available on Furman's campus to get more involved.
