" It is easy to think people don't care or try, but now more than ever, I have realized people's capacity, drive and desire to do good in this world. I want to ensure that every person, right now an din the future, is able to do what they're passionate about- whether that be making art, finding a cure for cancer, building affordable housing, bettering our justice system, making people smile. Whatever they feel called to, I know the only sure way they can achieve these things is if we take care of the Earth first. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Responsible Consumption through the food system

Put on a Cultural Life Program (CLP) which 32 are required for all Furman students. My CLP included a brief presentation about the current state of food system, introductions to systems thinking, and resources available on Furman's campus to get more involved. Afterwards, we viewed the documentary, The Biggest Little Farm.
