ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Bright Future Project

A self development project aimed at equipping secondary school students with public speaking skills and inspiring them to acquire other skills like musical skills. About 300 students were targeted but so far, about 50 have been reached out to. The project was kicked off with an assessment of the deficiencies of the students in the area of interest.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chibuike Emmanuel Nwachukwu is a final year medical student of University of Ibadan. He is a Young African Leaders Initiative alumnus. Chibuike is a Global youth ambassador interested in building the minds of future generations. He currently volunteers for community projects such as health awareness programmes, first aid treatment training, public speaking coaching, etc.
