ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: LearnAgain Initiative
The LearnAgain Initiative is a social enterprise that is focused on taking out of school children back to school and sustaining them in school by empowering their mothere with start up funds for small scale businesses.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ogunkunle Olawumi is a student at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative. Olawumi actively volunteers at Family Counselling Centre where she focuses on coordinating projects, implementing strategies for project execution and working on partnerships.
She also volunteers at Clean City Initiative and Smile Builders Initiative. She is an active member of Enactus where she focuses on making impact environmentally, economically, socially and driving the need for change in the society and the world at large.
She is a campus journalist, blogger, editor, writer, content developer and poet. She creatively deploys knowledge from diverse sources into problem solving and has mastered the art of strategic planning.
