" As an individual passionate about societal change, I believe in the power of strategic networking and that individuals can share resources to maximize their respective skills and foster social impact.

Being a Millennium Fellow, I will have the privilege of linking up with great minds and access to a challenging environment that will groom me to become a better version of myself and create a brighter version of my dream. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Clean City Initiative

The Clean City Initiative is an innovative intervention that aims to redefine the plastic waste disposal system in the Ibadan metropolis by creating value and wealth from plastic waste and in so doing, empowering the people of Ibadan to create a better future for themselves and for the environment.

We have designed a 5-pronged model which takes a holistic approach to solving the problem of plastic waste pollution. Our model involves: sensitization, collection, upcycling, exhibition and sale.
We offer plastic waste pickup services to Individuals, households and corporate bodies committed to ensuring environmental sustainability.
We organise training programs on basic and advanced plastic waste upcycling techniques and community mobilization strategies to achieve environmental protection literacy.
We teach our volunteers research skills and methodologies.
