ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: AIRE
AIRE (Assosiation for integrity, respect and equity) is looking forward into creating a community where LGBTQ+ people can express themselves freely whithout the social barriers that have been created throughout the years. Some of the goals we hope to accomplish is creating an impact so people/students outside of our University acknowledge us, as well as receiving more support from our institution and its alumni.
We also want to host more events so all the students can get involved and work into a more accepting environment.
About the Millennium Fellow
Amaranta Coronado Robles is beggining her second year of University, she is in the International Business program. Currently she is the Financial Manager of AIRE, she applied to this position because she likes very much finance and thinks it is a very important part for any organisation to function properly.
She is very passionate about her projects and is very hardworking, she speaks two languages (english and french) besides her native language (spanish)and is currently learning her fourth (german).
Since a young age she has shown a strong sense of justice, which has helped her in conflict resolution
