Millennium Fellowship Project: The Young Consultant

I serve as director of TYC – a non-profit, strategic consulting, community interest company. We create value by providing high quality strategic advice to organisations that cannot typically afford such services. This includes social enterprises, charities and startups, where our advice creates true value. In the process, we enable our consultants to learn how to apply concepts of entrepreneurship and leadership to have an impact in their communities.

We are passionate about building capacity in higher education systems and our work closely aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Economic Growth and Productive Employment. We believe that sustainable development requires the cultivation of conditions that allow people to have access to quality training and employment in a way that stimulates the local economy, and we strive to provide this.

This past few months we have continued to train a large number of students to effectively give back and share their knowledge with organisations in our local community.
