ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: BETAHCARE INITIATIVE
Betahcare Initiative is a project that sets out to meet SDG 4 Quality Education by organising monthly visits to children homes around Kenya ,making donations and contributions such as buying them school uniform,books ,drawing books,story books , mentoring the, and providing any other resources they may need.Since the millenium fellowship begun we have visited the Zaidi ya Dreams and Bethsaida Children's Homes in Nairobi,Kenya.For Christmas wehave patnered up with an organisation called Weka Smile Foundation .We will have a Christmas carol session for the children at Kenyatta National Hospital Nairobi,Kenya.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bwari Mitchelle Murungu is a third year student at Kenyatta University School of Law Parklands Campus. She was the Miss Kenyatta University School of Law Parklands Campus 2018/2019.She is the founder and Chair lady of Parklands Performing Arts that aims at promoting and discovering talents in school. She is an active member of the Beta Care Initiative for the Needy.
