" I am excited to be a Millennium fellow to be among the youths that is working towards the implementation and achievement of the Sustainable development goals in the world.
I am interested in the eradication of hunger because extreme hunger and malnutrition is one of the hindrances to achieving sustainability in our society today. The eradication of hunger will give rise to more productive individuals that will participate in achieving the 17 global goals through a concerted effort. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: HUNGER ALLEVIATION
My project was aimed at alleviating hunger by distributing food relief items to the poor and
needy especially children, widows and
destitute.
I executed this project using the platform of Lagos Food Bank Initiative. On the World Food Day, I went on an outreach to Ilaje Community, Lagos to distribute hunger relief items and writing materials to children and also educate them on the importance of food to the body.
