ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Qualitative Education

Project qualitative education seeks to help students who have difficulty understanding in the conventional classroom setting to understand better and compete equally with peers in the classroom

About the Millennium Fellow

Japhet Olayemi is a 400L student of Lagos State University, studying law. Japhet is a member of a SDGsACT LASU which is aimed at promoting the actualization of the SDG goals. Also, he is the head of some student association which would function as a platform for exhibiting and accomplishing the Qualitative Education project (Sustainable Development Goal 4). He is dedicated to helping people develop into better versions of themselves and beating difficulties. He intends to become a United Nations ambassador and help achieve a better, safer and more conducive world.
