ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project 5 UP
This project seeks to monitor students and help gain academic stability and confidence. It will also help broaden the horizon of students, empowering them with real life and entrepreneurial skills.💯
This has taken place through Tutorials and Reading Hubs cut across all faculties, with several tutors and Faculty Heads.
We also have night reading whrrewr provide light for reading for those who can't read at their respective homes due to Light issues.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mariam Ayomide Ogboye is a junior student at Lagos State University, studying Mass Communication with a major in Broadcasting.
She is a young lady, who is passionate about helping people and an advocate for SDGS goal 4 & 5. She is a member of the editorial- LASU GONG Newspaper, her school's publication. She also co-hosts a show, Feminine Angle on LASU radio, a campus station.
Asides this, she is passionate about volunteering, as she is the Asst. Media Head of Volunteer Hub Nigeria and a media member of SDG'S ACT LASU. Mariam is a promising Broadcast-journalist.
