" My father once said that the works of your hands cannot deceive you. They will tell one day whether you do good or bad.

For me, the goal is not to embed my names in the hearts of all men. I do not do the work I do for myself or for others but for posterity. One day, our works will definitely speak for us.

I hope that my own works will speak good of me. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Lifted Minds

With the decrease in the quality of education in our country, we set out to train and enable students in underserved communities compete with counterparts across the world. Project Lifted Minds was born out of the necessity to supplement the quality of education received as not as a major form of education. The process so far has been simple on paper but difficult in practice, the action plan was to recruit trainers and facilitate sessions for students but the situation of schools as well as the difficulty in enlisting volunteers really proved a challenge.

The general idea was to train students on life skills like design, innovation, public speaking and creative writing amongst others. The focus for us was and still remains our present location in Lagos, however, we are hopeful that we will expand to even the recesses of our nation.

Through our sojourn with trainers we were lucky to have encountered some leaders in the field of design and computer applications. The millennium fellowship 2019 class also greatly influenced our work..
