ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: For Every Child
For every child is a project aimed at teaching high school student in Ikeja, Lagos state Nigeria about the Sustainable development goals (SDGs) and global citizenship education.
It was noticed that about 94% of students in this area have never heard of the sustainable development goals. And about 4% have heard aboutit and don't even know what it is about. Only 2% know about it. This project is designed to this effect.
About the Millennium Fellow
Toriola Janet is a student of Lagos state university college of medicine studying Medicine and Surgery. She is the initiative behind "An Indomitable Woman" ,a project aimed at achieving gender equality in the society. She is a committed and hardworking person.
