ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Speak for Africa
Speak for Africa(SoA) is an organization born with the heart of liberty and responsibility of betterment of the society, SoA shall be working on propagating the all the SDG goals on campus and environment laying much emphasis on SDG 1,3,4,5,10,16 &17.
SoA will be partnering with other organizations on and off campus to promote SDG goals
Goals to accomplish by SoA are:
Host 5-10 educational event on campus that each support the SDG goals.
Organizing community service among the school environment.
Educating 500-2000 youths on SDG goals and capacity building UNAI principle 2.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lawal Kamil Kayode is a student of Ladoke Akinola University of technology studying management and accounting. He comes from Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria, having shown much interest in the betterment of the society he belongs to several organizations that is focused on creating a better society.
He plans to be an entrepreneur in the nearest future creating employment and empowering the less privilege in the society. He spent much of is leisure time on IT, research, music and football
