ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Her Campus
Her Campus is an online magazine that focuses on empowering college women. While navigating through the site, users are able to find inspiring , informational and encouraging pieces on topics such as culture, lifestyle, relationships, finances ,career, etc. Now that Her Campus has been approved to be at Lynn, a team has been formed, and the website and Instagram account is up and running my goal for next semester is to recruit at least 10 more writers and grow are social media presence by 100 followers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Jayla Hall is a senior studying Multimedia Journalism and Public Relations at Lynn University. Hall is a member of Lynn University’s Social Impact Lab Ambassador Corps Program. Being a member of the Ambassador Corps Program, she was able to travel to a developing country and help improve the quality of education for the children of Berastegui in the department of Cordoba, Colombia. Her love for helping and protecting others will continue to drive her into pursuing a career that does just that.
