ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: goat breeding project

The major goal of the project is to overcome hunger at schools as well as children acquiring other scholastic materials needed at school which will help to improve on the performance and reduce on the incidence of school dropout.

About the Millennium Fellow

Siminyu Leuben. I am a Ugandan male,single, born 1996, currently a student of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial chemistry at Makerere University (third year, ) as a MasterCard foundation scholar. I am a founder of Hope foundation a community based probject that helps rural farmers achieve their dreams. I have much passion for the children and believes in having a nation with youths that are empowered to be self-employed and children acquiring the best quality education.
