Millennium Fellowship Project: MEC MUN Society

Model Engineering College Model UN Society (MEC MUNSOC) is an organisation that aims to address the unification and co-operation of people from various different backgrounds through formal debate and mutual respect.

Owing to the diversity of opinions in India, many turn to hate and violence. The team aims to raise a culture of peace among the youth by means of a platform for dialogue, moving slowly yet surely to a sustainable future. Workshops will be held to expose our audience to a range of problems faced by people around them.

Conflict resolution and peace can be brought only through awareness and education. Inter-collegiate events that will reach 600+ people in total will be held, where students will be discussing solutions to problems of both a global and local scale. Moreover, events and surveys will also be held for Model Engineering College students to identify and improve knowledge of the SDGs.
