" So many things to do, so much to learn, and so many people to meet!
The Fellowship provides us with a platform to grow and make the changes we've always, always hoped to make. Seeing other young leaders with the drive and the passion to fight for a better, safer, happier world makes you believe that there's no idea or thought too big or too small to make a difference. So excited and honoured to be a Millennium Fellow! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: MEC MUNSOC
Model Engineering College Model United Nations Society (MEC MUNSoc) is an organization founded by the students of MEC that aims to bring awareness of rising international issues to the general public.
We plan to conduct one conference in October, which will impact 100-200 people directly and many more indirectly. We also publicize socio-political issues on our social media channels and break down barriers one by one.
We also plan another large-scale event in January-February, that will bring an audience of 200-300 people. Moreover, throughout the year, we will be holding workshops and orientations for college students.
India is a very diverse country, especially in opinions. Through formal debate and proper discussion, we believe that differences can be overcome.
