ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Farm World

Farm World specializes in the raising of livestock and growing of crops for consumption and resale.


Goals to be accomplished:
1) Start goat farming with at least 10 goats
2) Produce organic manure for giving to the community
3) Acquire 100 chickens for farming
4) Employ at least 2 people
5) Improve the nutrition of my community
6) Organize a farming workshop for the community
7) Have at least 8 vegetable beds

About the Millennium Fellow

Tanaka Charamba is a senior currently studying Human Resources Management at National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe. He is a passion driven, committed and exceptional social entrepreneur. After graduating,he plans on running a successful farm business which will support children's homes.
