ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

base goals of the Millennium Fellowship are in
tandem with some of my personal goals part of
which is creating a better world for all to live in.
The distinction and privilege that the
Millennium Fellowship affords will aid
the expansion of my social impact network
such that there shall be adequacy of required
inputs such as expertise advise, further
enlightenment, insightful programs and access
to international colleagues for the interconnection
of ideas that will better expand my
capacity. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: International Targets Furtherance Project (ITFP)
This project seeks to elevate the sdgs. However, focus is currently placed on advancing sdgs 3 and 6 ( good health and well being, clean water and sanitation). This project is directed towards the rural communities and seeks to negotiate a way of bringing better clean water and sanitation as well as well being to this set of people. Relevant partnerships will be made to ensure the attainment of these goals.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oyebode Joshua Babafemi is currently an undergraduate law student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
He is passionately committed to worldwide efforts towards the realization of a better society for all men and creating a better world for all to live in. He is a lover and advocate of values of peace, social justice, equality, and all principles that enhance humanity. He sees himself as pivotal to the attainment these values and thus, is constantly given to substantial efforts to achieve these end.
