ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: STUDENT INITIATIVE ON FOOD SECURITY
Our project aims to tackle the SDG of Zero Hunger, relying on the pillars of Education, a Food Bank, and volunteering at our campus garden. We intend to educate 400 people during 6 to 10 workshops, help 300 people with the food bank and aid the campus garden with 100 volunteers during the period of the project.
About the Millennium Fellow
Richard is a Business Administration and Political Science major from Nicaragua. Richard was recently at DC as part of the Fund For American Studies, and aims to serve his country in development economics. Richard loves serving others with the skills and abilities he has, and hopes this project will help many students in need.
