ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Operation Elevate
Operation Elevate's objective is to increase funding and engagement of organizations in Rollins College's student life that promote Diversity and Inclusion. As Chief Financial Officer for Rollins' Student Government Association, I will utilize my influence and leadership to enable this initiative.
Goals: Host three events on campus next term that promotes cultural student life and to increase funding to cultural organizations on campus. Track students' outlook on the newfound diverse and inclusive environment by surveying routinely.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ahrmon Mahanpour is a Senior at Rollins College studying Economics with a minor in Asian Studies. Ahrmon is currently a Microsoft Summer Intern in Redmond, Washington for Summer of 2019. On his campus, Ahrmon is the Chief Financial Officer of Student Government, and a Bonner Campus Leader in which he volunteers 300 hours of service each academic year.
He is a First-Generation Iranian-Afghan American and his goal is to bridge the cultural divide on his campus through innovative initiatives and workshops.
