United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth perspective
Project Name: Youth Perspective.
Project Description: Youth Perspective is an initiative for maximizing youth involvement in sustainable development by putting together a community of writers tasked with creating quality content that addresses, dissects and provides in depth scholarly study of socio-economic and socio-political problems that are a hurdle in the journey towards Sustainable Development. This content in the form of studies, features and articles will be hosted on our website with global outreach with the aim of approaching global community and concerned international agencies to provide viable solutions. The existing body of writers has put together a curriculum that will be taught to more university students who want to be the part of the community of young change makers. The Purpose is to inform and assist the youth by engaging them in dialogue and practice (writing) for a purpose oriented sensitization followed by capacity building.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rida zaneb is doing MA IR from the university of Sargodha. She is a writer as well by the gradual and suitable work in the field. She is deeply interested in finding the effective and fruitful solutions of social and political issues. She has been the part of writing societies at different levels and still working in the writing club of her university
