ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Perspective
Youth Perspective is an initiative for maximizing youth involvement in sustainable development by putting together a community of writers tasked with creating quality content that addresses, dissects and provides in depth scholarly study of socio-economic and socio-political problems that are a hurdle in the journey towards Sustainable Development. This content in the form of studies, features and articles will be hosted on our website with global outreach with the aim of approaching global community and concerned international agencies to provide viable solutions. The initiative will also highlight the preexisting and underway projects by governmental and nongovernmental agencies that tackle the problems and will link them up to the global communities working towards the same goals for exchange of information, ideas, methods and solutions. Hence the overall purpose is to inform and assist the youth by engaging them in dialogue and practice for a purpose oriented sensitization followed by capacity building.
About the Millennium Fellow
Saher Imtiaz is a student of BS Political Science in University of Sargodha. She has a lot of interest to do something for the betterment of youth and she tries to find out the solutions of their problems. She is member of community services of University of Sargodha. Saher takes interest in the social activities of her university. She is also member of her University's writing society and e-media society.
Saher's aim is to work for the educational and social uplift of the people.
