ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

" Being part of a fellowship full of potential leaders will give me the opportunity to interact, learn and share views on my goals of enabling quality education for all and mentoring future leaders to achieve and get to their potentials.
Ensuring that my target goal is a reality will give me the joy of reducing illiteracy to its minimum in the coming years and in turn bringing up development in my Area. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Future Leaders through Quality inside and outside classroom Education.
This Project solely focus on children who do
not attend school, Senior High and Junior
School students. It is meant to mentor them
and teach them on how relevant education is
to their dreams and how they can apply the
things they learn in classroom to the outside
world, this will make understanding of most
theories easier for them. Community study
groups 10 members will be formed to aid inter
learning and art work skill learning among the
participants. This will promote diverse learning
and interpersonal relationship building.
Teaching and learning of Mathematics,
Science and English will be made a top priority
during weekly meetings to boost the
confidence of participants in their schools. This
learning process will be made free and as
easily understandable and applicable to
participants as possible.
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is Wisdom Senanu Mensah , a level
300 Medical Imaging Science student in the
University Of Cape Coat in Ghana.
Wisdom is very passionate about SDG 4; Quality education and will love to see every kid go through the educational system in order to acquire skills needed for brighter futures.
He attended several seminars on Youth Leadership from Youth Impact Workshop and Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) equipping himself for leadership roles that will help build future leaders.
