United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

About the Millennium Fellow
Asiedu Joseph Forson is a youth leader and sustainability advocate with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects in community development, education, climate advocacy, and technology. As an alumnus of YALI cohort 12 online and 10 Billion Strong, and serving as the Campus Director of Millennium Campus Network, Asiedu has developed a strong foundation in project management, leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
In his current role as Executive Secretary cum Project Administrator for Nasco Feeding Minds, a Spanish-Ghanaian NGO, Asiedu oversees the effective coordination and implementation of 8 projects focused on digital literacy, climate advocacy, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment for vulnerable communities. His expertise in project administration and his passion for sustainability and community development enable him to drive meaningful change and empower marginalized groups.
