ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: EGUAVOEN GREAT OSAMENDE

My project seeks to raise awareness on clean environment and the impending danger unkempt environments poses to our health

About the Millennium Fellow

Eguavoen Great Osamende is a third year student of Dentistry and Dental surgery at the university of Benin Nigeria. He holds a diploma in computer appreciation. Great is a 2018 Chinese government scholar who is passionate about localising the sustainable development goals in his locality. He is a volunteer teacher at camp of the internally displaced persons Benin where he teaches biology and chemistry. He is an SDG champion _ An organisation aimed at localising the SDG in Nigeria tertiary institution. He is also a member of the Nigeria youth SDG Network, Nigeria SDG Advocate and a Member of the Junior Chamber International.
