" That the Millennium Fellowship would give me a platform to actualize my dream of the BSSP, meet and work with new people, experience and learn new stuffs, think outside the box, grow my network, step outside my comfort zone, productively make impact, and in my little way help make the world a better place, is thrilling, to say the least. One man cannot better the world, but together we can...let's do this! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: The Baby Steps To Success Project.
My project, the baby steps to success project, is aimed at inspiring and motivation "street kids" within the age of 15-25 in my community to think outside the box and live up to their full potential. We do this by sharing with them inspiring stories they can relate to of people who though once in their shoes, have been able to achieve success in various fields through consistency, determination and hard work. We also expose them to the importance of taking baby steps like saving, reading the right books, listening to the right people, networking, etc, in the long run.
