ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

About the Millennium Fellow

Isagbah Chinedu is a 500 Level Student of Law at the University of Jos. He has involved himself in the implementation of the SDGs from the very beginning through numerous projects he founded or volunteered with. He started the Greater Nigeria Initiative in 2015 to tackle issues in Education in the Northern part of Nigeria. He was named Global Goodwill Ambassador in 2018 by the Global SDGs Foundation. He is currently an Assistant country Director of the International Youth Society in Nigeria,state Coordinator for Social Impact Africa (an SDGs solution based NGO),Chinedu is passionate about educating young people in Nigeria and hopes to influence the reduction of out of school children in Nigeria.
