ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019
United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations. 69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows.
During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

I do what I do because it gives me pleasure and a sense of mission to my dreams. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Scarz
It's a platform that seeks to offer psychological first aid and counselling role in the campus and Africa as a whole and hereby remove every mental blocks and war against mental health issues and demands while continually adjusting to their present environment (marriage, work, school) by therapeutic approach and also the exchange of experience that can serve as a solace or healing to one another. Though the intended plan was a Mobile App but we began with a whatsapp platform and sharing the link across different campuses and people.
About the Millennium Fellow
Olajide damilola Christiana is a penultimate student of the University of Lagos studying economics major. Serves as a volunteer for different NGOs and on a Campus trained team of call on me anytime that provides psychological first aid to people who are depressed. She has volunteered for many awareness group and led a team that serves humanity. She is the CEO of scarz a psychological therapy platform having working together with Co founders. The drive and love for humanity and a better society keeps her going.
