" I believe the knowledge I would gain and the
wide array of resources which I will be
exposed to during the course of the fellowship, would provide me with necessary
skills, which when applied will substantially
solve some of the major social problems being
faced in Nigeria. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Raise a Kid

Raise a Kid is a project which provides free quality and basic education for underprivileged children in an underdeveloped community in Lagos.
During this period, I hope to increase the number of children the project currently reaches out to by 100%. Also, I hope to refurbish the school location currently used, repairing the leaking roof.
Furthermore, I hope to significantly increase the number of girls the project currently caters for. I also hope to provide more learning materials for the children during the project.
During the course of the project, I hope to organise a skill acquisition training for 30 parents in the community.
Finally, I hope the project provides an opportunity for the children to access better learning opportunities outside the community.
