ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's Grow Together.

Let's Grow Togethe, project team is building a network of students with the passion to fight poverty by improving there financial knowledge together. They hope to attain this by hosting seminars from resources persons, sharing financial books from top authors, taking on entrepreneurship projects and of course charity donations. The team's aim is to build a network of 50 students, between july to November 2019. The team will have equip themselves with the needed financial skill to fight poverty and improve their financial knowledge amongst it's members. Through this process more student will be inaugurated and the knowledge of financial knowledge will spread and one day Africa will be liberated from the chains of poverty.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ariweriokuma King-son Tamuno-Omie was born in Rivers State Nigeria on 1st December 1993. The first child among 5 children. Growing up, he attended the Wesley Methodist Nursery and Primary school and Federal Government college, Odi, Bayelsa State . He is currently an undergraduate at the University of Port-Harcourt studying Plant science and biotechnology in his final year. He is passionate about addressing issues that challenge his generation. A Christain by Faith and an entrepreneur.
