" I am very excited of helping communities have better access to quality and proper education. Repaying the help and guidance I once had, and institutionalize it so it can have lasting effects. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Acceso Universitario

Through Access Universitario (University Access in Spanish) we aim to facilitate students from diverse backgrounds (gender, religious, racial, socioeconomic, immigrant, etc. ) with the necessary tools to their post High School life. These communities, often marginalized, currently lacked the information needed to make appropriate and conscious decisions on their different possibilities. By giving vocational testing, presentations, individual interviews and pairing the students with like minded young students, already at college, from their same background, the students had a better, more round idea to the possibilities ahead.
