ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2019

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship.  In the three months the application was open in 2019, over 7,000 young leaders applied to join the Class of 2019 on 1,209 campuses across 135 nations.  69 campuses worldwide (just 6%) were selected to host the 805 Millennium Fellows. 

During the Millennium Fellowship, Millennium Fellows' dedicated 96,705 hours and their 422 unique projects positively impacted the lives of 564,366 people worldwide.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Helping Underfunded

Helping Underfunded aims to support help high school juniors as they apply for college. Throughout this project, we will target 3 high school juniors and work with them on increasing SAT scores, help them apply for scholarships and writing essays. Our main goal is to help the students increase their SAT scores and grades.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aisha Lunkins is a junior International Business major at Widener University. She is apart of the Widener Marching Band, where she serves as assistant color-guard captain. Aisha participates in many organizations throughout campus including Black Student Union, and Pride Activities Council. After university, Aisha hopes to become an intern with the United Nations, or to go to law school.
