" I was excited when a friend told me about Millennium Fellowship. I am excited to be part of the class of 2020. I look forward to getting equipped with more knowledge and wisdom about SDGs and the great role I can play in achieving them in my society. I also look forward to interact with youth who have like minds and are pushing towards a similar goal. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: STEPS

STEPS is a non government organization that was founded by youth to carry out activities with Cancer communities in Uganda. It has stalled at a baby stage despite having carried out some activities in its birth year with the Cancer Institute. Currently it carries out sensitization through social media with less physical contact with the institute. Participating in the Fellowship will revive activities such as visits to the institute, class activities with the children at the institute, increased online participation, increased sensitization in school communities and registered the organisation to carryout the activities legally.
